Immune Boosting Turmeric Shots

I made a BIG pitcher of these immune-boosting Turmeric Shots for a wellness party my hubby and I threw, they were such a hit everyone keeps asking how I made them. We also enjoyed the heck out of the leftovers and had a few Turmeric Shots each day the rest of the week:) So, I highly recommend making a batch and leaving them to pull from all week. Great for digestion and inflammation as well.

Turmeric Shots

ingredients (use organic)

1 quart filtered water

3 inches sliced fresh ginger

Juice from 1 lemon

2 tbls turmeric or curcumin powder (you could certainly use fresh turmeric root, just blend first)

2 tsp cinnamon

2 tbls manuka honey or raw honey

pinch black pepper

How to

Add all ingredients to a pot on the stove. Simmer for 20mins. Remove.

Drink these immune-boosting Turmeric Shots warm or cold.  Store in a glass jar/pitcher in the fridge. You can totally eat the ginger as well!
