Crispy Smashed Brussels
I LOVE making these crispy smashed brussels for a snack! Super simple, just enough crunch, and made in the handy dandy air fryer! If you don't have one, get one, you're late to the party. They make all sizes so no excuses, it will simplify your cooking game so much and make the most yummy foods.
Steam the desired amount of brussels just until fork tender.
Heat air fryer to 400 degrees.
Remove brussels from steamer. Place on a flat surface, stem side down, then proceed to smash them down with a heavy bottom glass.
Drizzle with evoo or spray with coconut or avocado oil. Sprinkle with s+p. You can certainly add any other seasonings you like here....get creative! We like crushed red chili flakes, onion powder.....etc.
Gently place in your air fryer and cook for 5 mins, gently flip, cook another 5 mins.
Remove and serve up with your favorite dip! Sometimes we just mix mayo + siracha, easy peasy.
