Navigating Your Health Gracefully through Perimenopause, Menopause and Beyond

About this experience

May 30th, 2024 | 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Join us for an enlightening event featuring Cameron Olderog, MD, FACEP, IFMCP, a board-certified emergency medicine physician and certified functional medicine practitioner. With a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from UCLA and a Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Olderog brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.

At this event Dr. Olderog will shed light on the unique changes women experience as they age, particularly during the transition into menopause. From physical to emotional symptoms, she will discuss how lifestyle modifications can help mitigate these symptoms and promote graceful aging.

Learn about the role of nutrition, movement, sleep, stress reduction, and community in optimizing health during this transformative stage of life. Dr. Olderog will also touch on strategies to mitigate the risk of metabolic disease, osteoporosis, and dementia post-menopause.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and empower yourself to thrive through life's transitions.

What is Functional Medicine?
Functional Medicine examines the root cause of disease. It is patient centered and addresses the whole person – not just an isolated set of symptoms. It looks at the complex interactions of environmental, genetic and lifestyle factors in an individual and how those factors influence complex, chronic disease. Functional medicine is medicine the way it should be.

Serving up delicious and nutrious bites from Dr. Olderogs family regenerative farm, and locally made kombucha from Remnant Farm Kombucha, founded by Stephanie and Adam Taylor, where regenerative agriculture is also front and center.

What is Regenerative Farming?Regenerative farming goes beyond sustainable practices, aiming to restore and enhance the health of ecosystems. By promoting biodiversity, soil health, and carbon sequestration, it offers a holistic approach to agriculture that not only produces food but also revitalizes the land for future generations.

This event welcomes all who seek health + wellness. An ample opportunity for questions and dialogue will be an integral part of this gathering.
